what i am doing now is throwing a generous amount of 1999 into the trashcan and taking the narrative up afresh. the drama of 1999 - corroding city on the brink of an erroneously calculated millennium - will be unfolded by the editor of westcoast times, and vincent torres, seer of vagator.

I am getting amazed at the machanism that goes behind writing of a novel. One would think you start at page 1 & write till the story is told :)

:) that must work with the ones who have a linear plot. am constantly assaulted by sub-plots in grassblades and strangers...i don't do a running stitch, its more like making one of those rugs from hundreds of strips of cloth...
