This is a brilliant photograph.
The color balance as well as the subject is very subtly brought out. I specially like the sky which occupies almost 90% of the space.

Keep it up

A nice photo. Reminds me of my house on the bank of the river and the lonely scenes like this I experienced scores of times. Wish the silence on the river's bank I experienced as a child and teenager is restored!

This is a superb photograph that put me into a deep thought. The river is parched ....the life is parched...Are there meadows and waterways beyond!

Much love to you, anonymous. The hope for meadows and waterways must lie in the pauses and rehaul in life made by people such as yourself and me. Here is a paragraph that I found last night:

"Man's relation to God probably has to undergo a certain important change: Instead of the propitiating praise to an unpredictable king or the child's prayer to a loving father, the responsible living and fulfilling of the divine will in us will be our form of worship of and commerce with God. His goodness means grace and light and His dark side the terrible temptation of power.

Man has already received so much knowledge that he can destroy his own planet. Let us hope that God's good spirit will guide him in his decisions, because it will depend upon man's decision whether God's creation will continue. Nothing shows more drastically than this possibility how much of divine power has come within the reach of man."

miss patil thanks for a beautiful sunset and the words behind the perspective.would like to interact to see beauty in the ugliness with 6.5 billion terrestrials on this lonely planet earth.

@ maverick: that you are here, that you partake of this, that you feel deeply about this and are able to articulate - likely you are one of those that bring beauty into the lives of some of the 6.5 billion lonely souls on the planet too. thank you.
