In the present day terms, the avatars of Vishnu (energy form, called Nadbindu) is indicated at the centre of the infinite, and ever expanding universal void,,, also indicated in the popular stories as well as by ancient astronomers, located at the centre of our planet earth, that's referred also as 'Gangadhar', Chandrashekhar, etc Shiv, ie, the holder of River Ganga that receives moonlight, or Somras fit only for Devtas)... and so on...
The avataras of Vishnu/ Shiv indicate evolution of our galaxy/ solar system, from pure energy, as the essence of the universe,,, and selected essences of nine of the members from Sun to Saturn to have gone in to the making of the temporary, mortal animal world that's headed by Man as the model of Shiv, ie, Earth representing the 100% perfect form, while animal forms represent the range from 0 to less than 100%,,, the maximum percentage depending on Time, from Satyug to Kaliyug...
