The latitude of Northern France is approximately the same as the Northern United States. At this time of year, the daylight lingers on and on, but...it's now all going back the other way. Each day gets a little shorter. Days of November and December almost don't happen at all. Long nights, cold and damp. But that a beauty of its own.
