Latest miniscule-visual-musing column is about the poders - bakers of traditional Goan bread - of Taleigao, Goa. This padaria (or 'poderia', bakery) is a particular favourite for its crumbling but ambient setting, excellent undé, and warm-hearted people. No matter how hard it rains, poders get around; reassuring pau-pau-pau horn, doughty bicycle with oversize blue tarp-covered bread basket.
